My family and I recently attended family camp at Covenant Pines in McGregor, MN. This summer, camp was a slightly different experience. Junior High 1 is in full swing. Today we played a game that is fairly new to camp but is, nonetheless a favorite; Conquer the Castles. The whole camp is divided into about 6 “kingdoms” and are each assigned one king. The goal is to protect your own castle/king while trying to conquer others. Last night our July Family Campers enjoyed a rousing game of Team Pictionary in our Oak Ridge Dinning Hall. This is one of our favorite Family Camp traditions and it is always sure to be intense.
