I vividly remember two sisters in particular who came to Day Camp this past June. The family did not have a home church, but the mom signed the girls up to attend Day Camp at MGCC. They soaked up the camp songs, stories, and more. At the end of the week, I mentioned to the girls that we were so glad they came!
At the end of the summer, our church had a Wednesday night event and the girls came. They ran up to me and said hi. I was so happy to see them again. Right away they said, “We still remember the theme song for Day Camp.” And right there on the spot, the girls sang the verse song beautifully with actions and all. I was amazed at how well they remembered! The best part is that the girls now come faithfully to our Wednesday night events with a smile on their faces. I truly believe they now come because of their awesome time at Day Camp!
