There are 3 options for high school students who want to develop their leadership skills at Covenant Pines Bible Camp.
Separate applications are required for each program. Online applications can be found here.
One-week sessions for students entering grades 9-12.
SWEAT team members get a backstage peek at what it takes to make CPBC run. They’ll help with the daily camp responsibilities as well as special work projects. Students will have the opportunity to work alongside, and learn from staff members, and participate in daily leadership training. SWEAT students will be challenged physically and spiritually as they learn what it means to be a servant leader. Contact our Jr. Staff Coordinator for more details.
leaders in training (LIT)
One, one-week session, and two, two-week sessions for students entering grades 10-12.
The Leaders In Training program provides students an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and be challenged to grow in their faith. Students will sleep in a cabin, work with and learn from a camp counselor, and participate in daily leadership training. The first week is all about observation, building meaningful relationships, and learning the ropes of camp life by working with a counselor and Jr. High cabin. The second week, students are encouraged to take a more active role within an elementary-aged cabin by leading a cabin devotion and other group activities. Contact our Jr. Staff Coordinator for more information.
junior counselors (JC)
One-week sessions for students entering grades 11-12, and recent graduates.
The Jr. Counseling program is for students who desire to love and serve God and others, and step out as a leader both at camp, and in their schools and communities. Students will take on new responsibilities at camp and within the cabin. They will have opportunities to help guide new LITs and grow through leadership training sessions. JCs must have graduated from the LIT program.Contact our Jr. Staff Coordinator for more information.
