“Right then and there, I prayed with her as she asked Jesus into her heart.”
At the end of the week at Day Camp, Luke told the gospel message to all of the campers. The kids listened so attentively as Luke creatively and passionately told the life-changing message. When our group went back to our room for “Cabin Time”, we talked about God’s free gift to us -Jesus! And if anybody wanted to ask Jesus in their hearts.
To my surprise a little 2nd grader looked up at me with her big eyes and said , “Yes”. So right then and there, I prayed with her as she asked Jesus into her heart and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior! I got shivers through me as I prayed with her. I know in my heart that she will be in heaven someday. What an honor and a privilege to lead this little girl to Christ. But it not only changed her life, but mine too as I am reminded every time I see her at church, that someday we’ll both see Jesus in heaven someday. Praise the Lord!
